The past couple weeks have been a huge whirlwind for all of us, and we are seeing all industries being affected. The wedding industry is no exception, with some of my couples having to make some incredibly difficult decisions right now. It’s been declared by the governor, the president and the CDC to not allow gatherings of more than 10 people. For spring weddings, this is causing many events to reschedule or alter what they were envisioning for their special day.
I want all of my couples to know I am here for you. If you need to call or text someone to let out your stress, call me. It’s not fair. It’s scary. It’s so stressful. You’ve been planning your wedding for a year or more and this…well, this just sucks. This is not what any of us could have imagined would be an obstacle for your wedding day. If you need to talk through options, please reach out. I will be as accommodating as possible as we navigate our way through this unprecedented experience.
I’m a silver lining kind of gal and I can’t help but see the blessing (I know, I know, bear with me here) this can bring for us to focus on what’s important. We ALL want the wedding of our dreams and my hope is all of you get that. But at the end of the day, what matters is the two of you having each other.
The number one characteristic I have listed for my ideal client is “they care more about the marriage than the wedding” and that’s what we should be focusing on during this craziness. Support each other, listen to each other, be each other’s relief. This is giving you all great marriage training! You’ll be able to handle anything!
We WILL get through this. Lots of love and light sent to all of you as we move forward!
