Iowa Newborn Photographer

As an Iowa newborn photographer, it is such a privilege being invited into people’s homes during those precious very early days to photograph their new life.  I conduct all newborn sessions at client’s homes, so mom can continue resting and baby has one less appointment to be shuffled around to.  All I need is a window and about 4 feet of space cleared.

For the record, I do not expect you to tidy up for me!  I am a mom of three, living in kid messes.  I promise I don’t notice your undone dishes or laundry piled in the corners or pet hair that hasn’t been swept away yet.  I get it.  I really do.  And I absolutely don’t want those things to be a barrier to you documenting your sweet newborn.  A week later, your baby will look different.  It’s so fleeting and precious.  So plop your unshowered self on the couch with a little Netflix binge and snack while I take pictures of baby.  I bring everything I need.  We will take breaks for diaper changes, or to feed baby or if they just really want to snuggle mama right now.  I’m in no hurry.

Now enjoy this sweet little babe who surprised everyone 7 weeks early!  After 22 days in the NICU, Baylor finally got to go home. These preemie bubs are just so special.  Little fighters who wrap everyone around their little fingers.  Welcome to the world, little one!

When you are looking for an Iowa newborn photographer, there are many things going through your head…especially on the heels of a pandemic. With client safety in mind, I am fully vaccinated for Covid and remain up-to-date for pertussis.
