June is Pride month! As a queer friendly Iowa City wedding vendor, I celebrate our LGBTQIA community and marriage equality. Since most Pride events have been cancelled, I wanted to at least celebrate here on the blog with a couple that has unfortunately had their wedding date impacted by the pandemic. Chelsea and Becky were planning on getting married this year, but had to reschedule due to all of the health concerns. Fortunately, we have their beautiful Pentacrest fall engagement session at Molly’s Cupcakes in downtown Iowa City to ogle over in the meantime.
Molly’s Cupcakes is a special place for these two. It’s one of their favorite spots for a fun date, so we started their engagement session here. Molly’s is the cutest little shop and I love that we could incorporate it into the photos. After that, we wandered around the University of Iowa campus as the fall foliage was on fire with color. We lucked out with perfect weather, and I just cannot get over how in love these two are. Pure joy and love from the two of them! I can’t wait to document their wedding day next year. May we all find a soulmate to do life with like these two have.
Are you looking for the perfect wedding photographer for the two of you? I would love to schedule a consultation to see if I am the right fit. One of the ways I am proud to say I have never had a bad client relationship is by requiring a consultation before you book with me. This allows us to get to know each other so that we both feel confident in working together. If you are considering me for your wedding photographer, click here to fill out a contact form so I can get in touch about a consultation.
