What’s so important about heirloom albums?
We live in a digital world. We benefit from that SO MUCH, and sharing images is one of those benefits. I love the flexibility that comes with digital photography and applying it as a wedding photographer in Cedar Rapids. I love being able to share our memories on Facebook and Instagram, keeping in touch with family and friends. I love being able to have multiple backups of my images for safekeeping. But our generation is facing a major problem. We live in a digital world.
Remember flipping through family albums? Seeing recent photos of yourself on the walls of your family home? Not panicking when you try to open those digital files you saved on your desktop only to find them corrupted? There are so many benefits to providing digital files, which is why I offer them to all of my wedding clients. But I also work really hard to preserve your memories beyond the USB.
I want your grandchildren to flip through your wedding album, imagining the love the two of you shared on your wedding day. I want you to be able to grab your wedding album off the shelf to relive the joy of your ceremony as you exchanged vows when you hit those rough times all married couples hit. I want you to have a tangible, quality art piece that you get to have right away before those digital files get tucked in a drawer somewhere, or filed away in your digital filing system.
All of my wedding collections include digital files along with a custom wedding album, so that you are able to get the best of both worlds. At your in person album ordering appointment after the wedding, we work together to create your archival album that will be enjoyed for generations to come. Being a wedding photographer in Cedar Rapids has allowed me to work with some incredible couples, each with a totally unique connection and wedding vibe. Annie and Zach’s was no different, and their wedding album turned out gorgeous. The pale gray cover, the pearl finish paper. It perfectly commemorates their beautiful June wedding day.
